Ann Curry
Ann Curry is a photojournalist as well as a journalist, author and has covered areas of war for over forty-five years. Her focus is on the human suffering of disasters and human tragedy. She became the first female anchor at the station, when she aged 22. After that, she moved into the role of anchor and reporter at KGW which is the NBC affiliate station located in Portland. Then she returned to Los Angeles four years later to work as a reporter for KCBS TV. Two Emmy Awards were won during the six years she worked for the KCBS-TV.
